Die katedraal Saint-Bénigne van Dijon is in die historiese sentrum van Dijon geleë. Die katedraal is een van die belangrikste godsdienstige monumente in Boergondië. Saint Bénigne is a Christian martyr of the 2nd century and his body is buried in the crypt. The site became a major pilgrimage destination during the Middle Ages.

The cathedral combines gothic architecture with an exceptional romanesque crypt dating from the 11th century. The crypt is one of the oldest and best-preserved examples of romanesque architecture in France.
Originally an abbey church Saint-Bénigne became cathedral during the French revolution. Today the cathedral remains an active place of worship and a major cultural landmark admired for its architecture and remarkable underground crypt.
