The Pont du Gard is the only remaining piece of the aqueduct that was bringing water to Nîmes. The original aqueduct was 50 kilometers long.

In Pont du Gard your guide will tell you everything about the roman empire and the reason why they built such an aqueduct. You will walk on the construction to cross the river and walk up hill to see the aqueduct from above.
